It was a little cold but other than that, all went very well!
One of the many things that I am thankful for everyday.
14 Days, 1200 Miles, We’re all tired.
Lilly is the Big 5 Years Old! A Half a decade!
I hope all is well. May next year be better for us all.
John, Anne, Ben, Lilly, and Charlie!
We went to Montana for Fall Break. Quite a change from Memphis TN!
We started in Billings, then headed west to Livingston (windiest city in MT), Bozeman, Butte, Missoula, Whitefish, Glacier National Park (Beautiful!), Helena, Twodot, and back to Helena.
Everyone should visit Montana at least once in their life. The views are breathtaking.
Memphis is officially hot and the pool is open for business.
Anne, Ben, and Lilly are in Idaho at a dear friend’s farm. Looks pretty nice!
Six weeks ago, each student in Ben’s class started bringing home a book to be read at least 3 times and then his teacher would review the book with them on Fridays. It has really worked.
You’ll notice in the video that Lilly has developed an occasional lazy eye. We’ve been to the doctor and we’re monitoring it. We hope she grows out of it.
From planning to finish, it was 2 years. Google Sketchup was key to the planning phase. Having the right tools was paramount to construction and having a patient wife helped quite a bit as well. We knocked down the wall dividing our tiny kitchen with the dining room and replaced it with a half wall making the kitchen 16″ wider. It made a huge difference as the video will show. We did not do the electrical or the sheetrock but we did the rest.
